U-GUARD discovery kit

Description

The U-GUARD discovery kit allows you to warn vehicle drivers and pedestrians of a possible collision in real time. 5 sensors (4 U-Guard-P and 1 U-Guard-C) generate a security perimeter around the forklift in order to detect the proximity of pedestrians wearing a U-Tag. There are 2 security zones controlled by the U-Guard-C:

  • The prevention zone: informs the driver of the presence of other people around him
  • The danger zone: alerts the 2 actors of an immediate danger of collision.

    • Synchronizes devices and determines security perimeter
    • Collects measurement from U-Guard-P
    • Calculates the measurements and decides to inform or alert

    • Transmits proximity data to U-Guard-C
    • Activated by proximity to a machine
    • Measure additional distance in case of no visibility
    • Transmits proximity data to U-Guard-C
