Vision and laser marking technologies for the food industry

The luxury sector is faced with the scourge of counterfeiting. The major brands are opting for innovative strategies to overcome this problem. This is notably the case for a major manufacturer of alcohol bottles.

Implement a solution adaptable to bottle format, with automatic reading of label characters and validation of readings fed directly into the ERP system.

Creation of an autonomous multi-format optical character recognition machine.
2 codes are affixed to the bottles. These codes are linked in the computer system.
If, at the time of recognition, the codes do not coincide, the product is counterfeit. This information is automatically fed back into the ERP system.

• Cycle time reduction
• Bottle traceability
• Optimizing resources
• Low maintenance
• Interoperability with existing system
