Every day, the bank's operations center receives sealed bags from the various branches throughout the country. These bags are transported by the bank's internal courier service or by external service providers. On receipt at the operations center, each bag is assigned to a specific department for processing according to its contents. Transporting them represents a cost and a risk for the bank - delays, misdistribution or disappearance of bags being particularly damaging.
