RFID demonstration for traceability and automation
On the MyRFIDSolution stand (No. 5N162), CIPAM will be presenting a complete RFID demonstration, illustrating an end-to-end industrial use case, from parcel preparation through to warehousing.
Principle of demonstration :
- Individual bottles, fitted with specific RFID tags, are placed in cartons.
- An RFID printer is used to identify and encode each box, ensuring unique traceability from the moment the package is put together.
- The cardboard then circulates on a conveyor, simulating an automated industrial logistics flow.
- A Centiloc board detects the presence and position of bottles inside the closed box, demonstrating the ability of RFID to provide reliable information without opening the package.
- Finally, an RFID portal identifies outgoing cartons and directs them to the storage area, guaranteeing complete traceability of incoming parcels.
This demonstration provides a simple, practical illustration of how RFID can be used to secure flows, improve stock visibility and automate logistics operations, while reducing human error.
