The PowerScan™ PM8300 wireless Laser scanners are Datalogic ADC’s rugged 1D Premium Line handheld readers. The PowerScan PM8300 scanners are available in a range of models to meet all customer needs; the PM8300 is the standard model; the PM8300-D, an “intermediate” model, is equipped with a display and a 3-key keypad; the PM8300-DK, the most complete model, offers a display and a 16-key keypad. The PM8300-DK considerably optimizes interaction with the host, and opens up a wide range of possible uses, since it can replace a portable terminal, which would represent a more expensive investment. Its keypad, identical to that of a cell phone, allows the operator to enter data manually, when certain codes cannot be read, and also simplifies operations in “code-quantity” applications, such as inventory, receiving, shipping, etc.
