This tabletop reader with its attractive design and outstanding performance is conceived as a very flat, external antenna for non-contact data exchange with common HF transponders. Thanks to its features, the antenna is suitable for desktop applications in libraries for tracing files or documents, and for detecting items at the point of departure or return. Reading range with single transponders can reach over 30 cm. Thanks to its built-in shielding, tags will only be detected within the antenna zone, and interference between multiple antennas will be minimized. What’s more, installation on metal or conductive surfaces has no influence on the antenna, so the reader can be used in normally unsuitable environments.
