This reader, linked to a PC, can read/record information on smart cards developed using 13.56 MHz contactless (RFID) technology; Compliant with the ISO/IEC18092 standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), it supports not only MIFARE® and ISO 14443 A and B cards, but also all four types of NFC tag;
It is compatible with CCID and PC/SC; So it’s a plug-and-play USB device that allows interoperability with different peripherals and applications; With an access speed of up to 424 Kb/s and full USB speed of up to 12 Mb/s, it can also read and write faster and more efficiently; It has a proximity detection range of up to 5 cm, depending on the type of contactless label used;
To increase the level of security, it can be integrated with an ISO 7816-3 SAM slot; What’s more, this NFC reader is available as a module, enabling easy integration into larger machines such as POS terminals, physical access systems and vending machines.
